Sakriti

I've run across a term that I can't seem to find an explanation of. GM uses it in a discussion of CC, Adi Lila Ch.7, conversion of Prakasananda. He says that Mahaprabhu goes to the gathering of sannyasis to give them some sakriti. He also uses it in a story of getting someone to hold a copy of Srimad Bhagavatam, saying that just by holding it they will get some sakriti. I'm guessing it means something like realization or faith, but I'd like to get a clear answer. Thanks!

I am pretty sure it's "sukrti." Look up that one. Su is a prefix that means good more or less. Krt is the verbal root for "do" or "make", so sukrti means benefit. Something that's good for you to do, and that will do you good.
