Early Agnideva bhajans where?

Syamasundara - May 14, 2007 1:59 am

Who told me that Agni's early bhajans are available to download online? Gaurangi? Syama gopala?

I can't find them anywhere.

Here are two early recordings, plus kirtan and smaranam.

I also have some other live recordings from the 80's that I can eventually make available now that I am out of school. That is a project I will try to put some major work into now. I'd like to start a Sri Caitanya Sanga music label, releasing old as well as new recordings of bhajan/kirtan within our sanga.

Great! Thanks.

I have a couple of old tapes that I could digitize when I find some time. I think they're from Laguna Beach. I did digitize "Tribute to Prabhupada," but it's not in stereo, and the tape I used was really old and was really distorted at the end of each side. It suffers from much use, lots of time in the car, and a few years here, where it's always warm and very humid (we average between 130-140 inches of rain annually).

The other tapes may be the same as Madan has. Maybe I should check with him.

Tribute to Prabhupada is on that site that I linked. Download it and burn yourself a new copy!

Yes, some of the old recordings I have are from Laguna, and knowing your ties to San Diego I suspect that we both got them from Caitanya Bhagavat who Agni used to chant with in Laguna.

Listening and downloading away :Applause:

You know what I was after? A version of Sri Krsna Caitanya prabhu daya koro more.

Exactly. So I'll save time by deferring to you on those. Have you heard anything from CB lately?

If you click on the titles it opens a new page with a quicktime file, like a status bar, you click a curtain menu on the far right, and it gives you the option "Save as..." something
