What's up with the guests?

What does really happen when we see that besides us members there are a few "guests" browsing this forum?
Are they really invited? I know that not just anybody can sign up without anybody knowing, but are these guests random surfers, like when I stumbled into the Govindastaka in a forum, while searching for it on Google and then posted it here?
If so, that can be dangerous, we think it's our private quarter, but anybody can actually read it and misinterprete things, and since they are not members, they cannot voice whatever they may like or dislike of our forum, and what's worse, they can draw their own conclusions and discuss them on their own forums, just like we did with that devotee who holds japa seminars.

a guest is someone who is not signed in and is looking at the login screen. that's all they see. so no panic.
