Dandavats and much thanks to Nanda-tanuga, Caitanya-daya, and Jason for attending Sripada Dhanurdhara Maharaja's program in my humble abode in Stockton. Maharaja liked the program very much and appreciated meeting and talking with you all.

Gaura premanandi! Gaura bhakta vrnda ki jaya!

Prema---I had a great time. Over the years, I've heard of DDS, but never had the chance to meet him. I'm so super stoked that I came out. He was amazing! So funny, so gentle. I've been reading "Greetings From Vrindavan" and am loving it. It was so sweet to chat with him.....man....I'm rambling.

Thanks for having the event!

I didn't know that Prema could rock the kartals and Rasaraja is a really great mrdunga player....good times!

Prema, can you contact Rathi Krishna and get a shipment of books to Audarya so we can sell it?

Gandiva Dasi - August 8, 2007 2:39 pm

Sure, I can.

Jason - August 8, 2007 2:59 pm

I would like to get a few extra copies for a few people---should I order from DDS/Rathi Krsna, or just wait and get them from Audarya when they arrive?

I actually just updated Dhanurdhara Swami's website last night. It still needs to be fine tuned here and there, but like with all websites, it will always be "under construction." :)

In the mean time, for any of Maharaja's books, you can go here:

http://www.wavesofdevotion.com/store/

Currently we don't have the need for a real shopping cart, so PayPal is our friend.

Let me know if I can be of any further service.

Rathi Krishna, if you need Audarya's help in distributing Dhanurdhara Swami's "Greetings From Vrndavana" just send bunch of them to Vrindaranya.

I know the cafe you are talking about it's near the yoga center. My kids take Aikido classes a block away. I live about a ten minute drive from there off March Lane in the Brookside development. Ksirodakasayi has my contact info. and numbers. Call me when you are in town.

I got the book today, and read a bit. It's really nice, refreshing literature. It makes someone feel atracted to renunciation. Freedom, holy places, living with (and in) the scriptures, feeling Krsna being close to you, saffron robes flaping in the wind. Good that my wife doesn't read my posts on TV :Big Grin: :)

Nanda-tanuja Dasa - August 15, 2007 11:04 pm

I’m truly impressed that Maharaja published this book, which is very personal diary. To open you heart like that in public takes guts: doubts, realizations, tears, desperation, laughs. My appreciation for him grew dramatically after reading this book, not that it was low by any means. He is very sweet and humble person. Please get this book for your benefit.
