We had an intimate and sublime Janmastami and Avirbhava Mahotsava for Srila Prabhupada here at Audarya. As part of the festivities, we had a "cow wash," which several people mentioned was a highlight. There were awesome talks, kirtans, and feasts--and Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai received a new outfit, which was sewn by Mahara of Prabhupada Village.

Nice dhotis and cadars. Sri Nityananda avadhuta looks the best in just a kaupina covered with weird substances. We used to bathe him and Nimai in actual loincloths and then we could tie strips of that kaupina to our heads (well, arm) like in the Cc.

Shouldn't Giriraja and the K&B silas have been bathed? Not like I don't see K&B in Gaura Nitai, but...

One day, when the new temple is fully functional (maybe on the inauguration!!) we could make a maha-abhisekha of all the deities at once, where all the brahmanas will participate and help, and no one will or should feel like a guest.

If everything goes well, I will be able to sponsor those ingredients, and/or help organize, as long as it happens.

We did an abhiseka for Krsna-Balarama at night. Does anyone have pics of it?

Yes, and then we can put all the Tulasi plants on the altar and make a grove!
