Flash cards

Vrindaranya Dasi - September 5, 2007 9:43 pm

As part of our monastic study program, I am creating flash cards for various books in order to increase retention of the philosophical concepts. I would also like to make these available to anyone in our group who would like to use them.

I have completed flash cards for Guru Maharaja's Aesthetic Vedanta and have published them to the web. To access virtual decks of flash cards on Aesthetic Vedanta, visit:

If you would like to make your own decks or be able to use the flash card program without being connected to the Internet, you can also purchase the program for US$19.95 from http://flashcardsuite.com/.

:Whew::rolleyes: All glories to Vrndaranya!

Been looking forward to that, and actually thinking about that yesterday. I have no method or knowledge, just an underground feel and somewhat whacky feeling for things, so these cards are going to be good feedback for me.

That's awesome. Thankyou Vrndaranya! : :rolleyes:

I did the introduction. At first it wouldn't even open, but I guess it was my computer.

I can tell it's tricky, the questions are really specific to each chapter (haven't read that book in a while). So, relying on one's own notions may not suffice. Like the question What are brahmanas?

Anyway, so far, so fun.

I wanted to try but it doesn`t work anymore! As far as I understood it is because Balaram font is not working on TV :(

Do think that it would be possible to make more of these flash cards for more of Gurumahraja's books? Like Rasa perhaps...

But I know you are busy... but if it is possible PLEASE!!!!
