The bank here in NC, called Suntrust, is doing a promotion called Checking for a Cause. If you open a new checking or business account they will donate $100 to a charitable cause of your choice. The ending date was October 12th, but they just extended it to the end of the year. I know that a lot of devotees don't have this bank near them, but just thought I'd tell people about it. Suntrust has branches in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. If you live in this area, or know of anyone, I would encourage you to open an account. You only need to make a minimum $25 deposit, and to make at least one purchase with your checking card by Feb.2008, and they will donate $100 to Audarya. I've gotten the necessary paperwork done with Nitaisundar's help, and now if you go on the suntrust.com website Audarya is listed as one of their causes. After you have an account, you simply hit the donate button, and they will send Audarya a check.
