New Website to Explore

Vrindavandas - January 1, 2008 5:50 pm

Haribol all! At the request of Dhanurdhara Maharaja, I am forwarding a link to a new website called the bhakticollective.com.

He has a very extensive paper that I just read called Srila Bhaktisiddhanta and Raganuga Sadhana Bhakti. I think you all will find both the paper and website refreshing and insightful. This is definitely a great new place for Guru Maharaja to also post articles and insights if he desires.

Please enjoy and forward on to any open minded devotee who would appreciate the site.

ys,

I actually came across this site just a couple of days ago and really appreciated it. That's really the kind of stuff we need more in the GV world I think.

if anyone knows the webmasters of the site, perhaps he/she could suggest a link to Swami.org.

I know the webmaster as well as most of the contributing writers as does Rathi Krsna.

What do you think Rathi?

I'll pose it to Kaustubha. I don't see why they would not. They are looking for a philosophically sound, broadminded, polemic vibe on the site.

<subtle hint>I'm sure they would even welcome an article by Swami.</subtle hint> ;)

Thanks Rathi for the reply.

I liked the website a lot. Brahmamuhurta Prabhu showed it to me a couple of weeks back. He told me that Kaustubha works as a cook and pujari at Eddie Sterns yogashala in NY. Imagine that, getting your livelihood as a traditional "poor brahmin" in New York City 2008! ;)

Kaustubha installed Radha Krsna deities at the Yogashala last Janmastami and worships them daily in the early am with an audience of "yogis". Kaustubha has been training as a yoga instructor for years under Stern and teaches some of his students Bhagavad Gita. The poor brahmin has an apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan he shares with his wife.

Being born and raised in New York part of me wants to say "only" in a city like New York is that possible. It seemed like when I was a "poor brahmin" in New York I had much more facility than I do know. :Cow:

Brahmamuhurta was in Finland?

Wow, what an interesting site!

I am reading some old posts here in TV but these things are real news for me... so I can dive deep and enjoy since for me they happen NOW. Really good things don't get out of fashion with time passing by, they become... classics!
