I was wondering if anyone now what Srila Shriddar Maharaja liked about Hegel?
Because the things that ive been reading are not interesting at all.

His political theory and other things are not that interesting.
But his idea of thesis antithesis and synthesis is what struck sridhar maharaja.

One more thing to note is that you should focus more on his metaphysics rather than political theory to get anything productive from him.
And as I suppose you know German, you should read in the original language as everybody translates the words differently. for example Geist is translated as both mind and spirit and I don't know what Hegel intended it to be as every translator differs.
