Hanuman on Arjuna's flag

Hari bol! Glad to be back again here!

Today a course of lectures on "The Philosophy of Yoga in Gita" was started in Sofia in maybe the biggest yoga studio here. Today's lecture I dedicated to the introduction in Gita and from the next Sunday Gita course will begin following it verse by verse. Please give me your blessings for this service.

The course will be based on Shrila Prabhupad's "BG As It Is" and Tripurari Maharaja's "BG It's Feeling and Philosophy". Today I was showing both books to the students and as a part of the introduction explaining them the subtle idea of Hanuman being on Arjuna's flag... being his hero and his ideal. I noticed that on the cover of Shrila Prabhupada's Gita on the flag it's Hanuman flying with the whole mountain with the herb needed for Rama's healing, while ot the cover of Tripurari Maharaja's Gita it's again Hanuman flying, but carrying a mace (is this the right word?) and also a flag.

Does anybody know what is on Hanuman's flag? I.e. if he is Arjuna's ideal and hero, who/what is Hanuman's inspiration, ideal and hero?

PS. People liked very much the stories of Hanuman... and their connection with Gita's verse, in which Krishna defines yoga as "the art of action"... And the connection between Mahabharata and Ramayana through Arjuna's flag with Hanuman on it.

Sita and Rama! But who is Rama's ideal?

Do you mean that Sita-Ram are on Hanuman's flag?
