Tattva-viveka

ista deva and paramatma

Gaura-Vijaya Das - January 12, 2009 12:24 am

During the course of the call today GM talked about ista devta replacing paramatma. So I was wondering if the person placed in bhava sees his ista devta in the other living beings heart instead of paramatma or he still sees the paramatma. In the stage before asakti does one see paramatma or one never sees paramatma at all?

Meditation on the Lord in the heart should be in accordance with one's ideal. If one's ideal is Vrajendranandana, then when one is qualified one will see him in one's heart, not Paramatma. Such a devotee will also see him in everyone's heart and everywhere.
