Google Transliterate

Gauravani Dasa - December 23, 2009 3:27 pm

New tool from Google:

http://www.google.com/transliterate/

You can convert from Roman transliterated Sanskrit to Sanskrit glyphs (?).

Select Sanskrit from the far-left, type Krishna then a space, then backspace twice. It will give you a list of possibilities, so it may actually accept different transliteration schemes (HK, etc). I don't know enough to test thoroughly.

I sent this link to a few devotees personally but there may be more of you who are interested :)

Interesting tool. I tested it a bit.

For those words that I know, it is ok.

Nice, and can be useful. Thanx.

It does appear to work with HK, but it is best to backspace as Gauravani suggests; otherwise, the first Devanagari choice may not be the best. Pretty cool.
