When Islamic women are able to do that, I don't see how GV can just sit back and try to impose a strongly patriarchal society now.

I agree. Very few Gaudiya women I know have not been affected seriously by the ideas and practices of the tradition. I always hope change will happen but I guess it takes action not just hope....

What an odd conception, that ordination of women somehow constitutes a "crime against the sacraments." They can be nuns, but not priests? Doesn't seem to add up.
