Swami Call on Sunday, Oct. 3

Gopala Dasa - October 2, 2010 1:36 am

Dandavats. Jai Sri Guru and Gauranga.

On Sunday, October 3, 2010, Swami B.V. Tripurari will be answering questions on his weekly “Swami Call" from Audarya.

Swami will begin speaking promptly at 11:30 am (Eastern Standard Time). Participants are urged to start calling in at 11:15 am. The number to call is 1-760-569-0800. After you get connected, you will be prompted to enter an access code. The code is 606050 followed by the “#” key. Every time a person joins the conference, a chime will be heard. I will be serving as substitute moderator this week.

Your servant,

Gopal dasa

It could help to improve sound quality if everyone remembered to mute during the call.

Madan Gopal Das - October 3, 2010 2:48 pm

Gopal has the "mute everyone" function figured out now. In order to un-mute yourself to ask a question just press *6. When done with a question just press *6 to again go back to mute. That should do the trick.

Yes, thanks Madan Gopal. Sound quality was much improved today relative to recent weeks. "Mute everyone" is likely to be the default setting going forward. As you know, a single phone echoing (feeding back) can make things difficult.

Still people who unmute to ask the question would do the best if they muted themselves just after asking it. Otherwise recordings may be still spoiled.
