Realised guru...

Devyah-pati Das SERBIA - January 6, 2011 8:29 pm

I would like to know, at what stage, one guru has to be,

in order to be called realised, sad-guru, sat-guru (I am not sure

how is that said - sad or sat) or sri guru if this is more precise.

There is that division of kanista, madyama and utama devotee,

as a general division of bhaktas.

Then there is more detailed division on: kanista-kanista,

kanista-madyama, kanista-utama, madyama-kanista,

madyama-madyama,... etc.

In this way looking, as minimum level, at what stage should

one guru be situated, in order to be called a realised guru?

That depends on how you define "sat-guru" and "realized." Guru Maharaja has said that one can be of substantial help to others at the stage of nistha. I would tend to think of sat-guru as one who had some acquaintance with his or her sidda-svarupa.
