yes I guess it happens with a lot of sects in India or perhaps everywhere. Hagiographies tend to over glorify the person of interest taking us beyong reason and in these cases there is no sastra to check whether they are overblown. I mean we have to accept CC as sastra as GV do and consider all these texts overblown, but for other CC is overblown. In the end, it is just faith more or less. Some have more reasoning for their faith and Goswamis did well to reason out GV well.
