To renounce family is one thing. But to dedicate oneself, with a full heart for the pleasure of guru and one's istadeva, by taking on the care and development of the spiritual lives of orphans needing shelter, that is some major renunciation. It would be so much simpler for you, Guru Maharaja, to walk off into the Madhuvan sunset, but yet you don't. You continue to put out milk for the strays. Thank you for making the most out of your vows of sannyasa.
PS looking forward to helping create Madhavan sunsets for you throughout the world (or at least in NC)

found this in one of the other parts of this forum. GM taking sannyasa. The note described that GM had been ill and was therefore very thin

Actually I think the anniversary is a day or so after rama-navami. I asked GM the other day when he asked Prabhupada for sannyasa and he said that after Krsna-Balaram mandir opening he asked and Prabhupada said yes, tomorrow. :Big Grin:
