Web preaching is a "Field of Dreams."

Starting to feel a bit like Kevin Costner in the movie Field of Dreams. You know, "If you build it, he will come,” and all. But the “he” has become a “they”, and the “they” keep lining up to join on a daily basis. I am speaking of a Facebook group created to dispel misconception in the modern Gaudiya Vaisnava community, Gaudiya Vaishnavism, Real & Apparent, which is now up to 349 members as of this morning.  

But here’s the rub, I can’t keep up with those who are submitting long posts full of speculative conclusions. So I come to you with straw between my teeth and tail between my legs begging for help. Please don’t kick me away, but rather if you have time, please bless me by spending some time engaged in web preaching on this Facebook group. If not a member, just request membership and you will be immediately added.

At this point I am inclined to skew the group to Guru Maharaja’s presentations just to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Thanks for this post Dulal Prabhu. It would be wonderful if our sanga members were more active on the site. It is an important seva and gives people a chance to hear proper conclusions. We are so fortunate to hear the proper siddhanta from a qualified guru.

It seems there are very few platforms for such exchange, so it doesn't surprise me that people are lining up but with that as you say is the responsibility of weeding. The most laborious part of growing a beautiful garden of Vaisnava exchange.

Looking through the membership of this GVRA group one will note that there are devotees from around the world, and many, many new devotees. What a preaching field.
