Guru Maharaj was mentioning this book in a recent class and so I thought since I've skimmed it over the years a more thorough study and contemplation (discussion!) here would be a good exercise - especially for Kartika! Let's try it out...
Uh-oh! Ratcheting up the bhakti eh? What I've had going in the back of my mind, thanks to Subal, is discussion of Siksastakam, Madhurya Kadambini, and Bhajana Rahasya together. This is why I posted the question a few weeks ago on Fb, but I haven't pulled it together yet.
Well, since they're all intertwined that would be a neat way to do it... Or, since we have discussion threads on the other two books here we could reference them in this thread. Either way
I just found this thread after almost giving up on tattvaviveka. I've ready Narayan Maharaja's commentary twice recently and am ready to begin study. Where would you like to begin Madan?
Is anyone up for studying the Bhajana Rahasya together?
Subal and I were talking about it the other day and thought that we would try to get something going on here.
I suggest that we start by reading Srila Bhaktisiddhanta's introduction first and discussing that. Then we could take each verse, one at a time, and follow them wherever that may take us.
Here is a link to Srila Narayana Maharaja's version of Bhajana Rahasya:

Here is a link to Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Maharaj's version (His is quite abbreviated, containing mainly the Siksastakam verses and verses about the Asta Kala Lila. But it does have Srila Bhaktisiddhanta's introduction):
Here is another version of the book (Does anyone know who translated this?):
Please join us in discussing this book. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the introduction.
I'm in the midst of reading it, so I would very much be interested in this!
