Bhajan CDs

Dandavat pranams,
Over the years, many devotees have expressed that they would like to have bhajan CDs from Audarya. We have been unable to produce CDs of even reasonable quality because of lack of recording equipment. The lapel mic we use for lectures does not at all work well for recording bhajans.
In consultation with Uttama-sloka dasa, a professional recording engineer who produces CDs for many devotee artists, we have a list of the essentials we would need to begin recording. We need several microphones and a multi-track audio interface. Uttama-sloka has even agreed to do the purchasing of the equipment on eBay in order to get the best price.
Now the only thing that is holding us back from producing high-quality bhajan CDs of Agnideva and Guru Maharaja is around $1500. Producing these bhajan CDs will be a major development for Audarya and will touch many devotees beyond those who might purchase one of our books. Therefore, we hope that many devotees will pitch in to make this happen.
Agnideva and Ratna-cintamani have already donated $100, so we only have $1400 to go. Anyone who donates $100 or more will receive the first three bhajan CDs for free and can consider themselves a founding member of Audarya Audio bhajan division. I will post on this thread all the donors as they come in, so everyone will know how close we are to reaching the goal.

I wanted to give an update on the bhajana CD project.
We have received all the equipment, except for the software (multitrack audio program). As we were ordering the software, we found out that a new version was about to come out. We could either get the previous version and pay $100 for the upgrade or wait for two weeks and get the new version. We decided to save the $100 and purchase the new version. It will be about one more week before the new version comes out.
I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.
