Govardhana-puja Celebration

We would like to invite everyone to participate in this year's Audarya Govardhana-puja celebration on November 13th. The schedule is as follows:
9:00 AM Arrival
9:30 AM Procession
10:00 AM Go-puja and Abhiseka of Krsna-Balarama and Govardhana
10:30 AM Guru Maharaja's discourse
12:00 PM Arotika
12:00 PM Mahaprasadam
2:00 PM Darsana with Guru Maharaja
This time of year the weather is unpredictable--it's between Indra and Krsna--so be prepared. Those planning to arrive on Friday are welcome to do so, and out-of-town guests are welcome to stay for the entire weekend, but we will need advance notice to arrange suitable accommodations. In any event, please let us know if you plan to attend.

Guru Maharaja has decided to change the schedule for the Govardhana Puja celebration.
Because Srila Prabhupada's disappearance day is on Monday (Nov 15), we will observe it the day before (Sunday), so that those who have to be at work on Monday can attend.
The new schedule is as follows:
Saturday:
10:30 AM Procession (weather permitting)
11:00 AM Go-puja and Abhiseka of Krsna-Balarama and Govardhana
12:00 PM Arotika
12:30 PM Feast
4:00 PM Guru Maharaja's Lecture
6:00 PM Arotika
7:00 PM Chai (tea)
Sunday:
10:00 AM Guru Maharaja's Lecture
11:30 AM Guru-puja
12:00 PM Arotika
12:30 PM Prasad

Karttika month provides many opportunities for seva in the Sponsor-A-Feast program. As vratas (vows) in Karttika draw extra remuneration, so to do Sponsor-A-Feast donations!
If you would like to donate for one of the feasts, please make a post here. Sponsoring part of a feast is fine too.
I would like to mention that the cost of sponsoring the feast has been kept down thanks to the massive donations of rice (200 lbs!), dahl, ghee, spices, etc. by Nanda-tanuja dasa, and enormous sacks of dahl, etc. by Bijaya-Kumar and Ksirodakasayi Visnu devi dasi. All glories to your service!

i guess i should choose which feast/festival to sponsor and send the money off quickly. I have opted to sponsor Srila Prabhupada's disappearance because 1) this is a pleasant surprise for me, as a visitor having only expected Govardhana-puja, and 2) in many regards i owe my Krsna consciousness to Srila Prabhupada (and a small 3) i have been listening a lot lately to ye anilo and ei boro karuna--lots of guru-dhyana!)

Vrndaranya, for the two years i lived at Gita-nagari, i was in charge of making the morning burfi for Radha-Damodara. There is nothing better than real fresh cow milk to make milk sweets. If you need any help with milk sweets, i'd be more than happy to help out
