Brahma Prabhu's birthday...

Narada-kunda Dasi - December 7, 2004 9:12 am

Dear Brahma Prabhu, I offer you my respects and gratitude for so kindly answering my questions, facilitating my entrance into this forum, and for writing so many beautiful things on various practical issues that have helped my cultivation of devotional service.

I'm sure there are so many others who think of you with affection and appreciate your input.

Maybe one day I will have the good fortune of hearing and seeing you in person, though I feel blessed already.

Forgive me for being the first to mention your birthday, as there are devotees who know and love you much more than my humble self. Living in a time zone preceding California by 9 hours, what can I do...

your servant, Narada-kunda dasi

Bhrigu - December 7, 2004 1:53 pm

Happy birthday, Brahma! Thank you for doing such a great service with editing the the Sangas and with answering people's questions. I also haven't had the opportunity to meet you, but I really appreciate your mature approach to Krishna consciousness and your compassionate answers to all kinds of questions. I hope that Krishna will continue to bless you, and through you, us.

Your servant,

Bhrgu

Happy Birthday, Brahma Prabhu! Just like Bhrigu and Narada-kunda dasi, I've never met you, and just like them, I would like to encourage you to keep on enlightening us with your entries and services! Thank you!

Gaura-sakti Dasa - December 7, 2004 2:58 pm

Dear Brahma Prabhu, In the name of the whole Polish group, I wanted to wish you the most sincere good wishes for your birthday and thank you for your wonderful service to propogate the teachings of Guru Maharaja. We thank you for what you do for all of us and we trully do not know how we could repay you for all of this.

Vrindaranya Dasi - December 7, 2004 3:51 pm

Happy birthday from the Audarya crew! You're doing wonderful service!

Audarya-lila Dasa - December 7, 2004 5:15 pm

Happy birthday from the Camarillo crew (1!). You are a true inspiration for all of us. You are already blessed in so many ways, but on this day I openly pray to Sri Guru and Gauranga for their continued and further blessings upon you.

Your servant,

Audarya-lila dasa

Babhru Das - December 7, 2004 5:30 pm

And happy birthday from the Puna crew! Although I have no standing to invoke others' blessings, I hope that you will continue to bless me with opportunities for small service.

Brahma Dasa - December 8, 2004 8:08 am

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for all the birthday wishes and generous encouragement. Regarding Sanga and internet preaching all I can say is that before Guru Maharaja so kindly gave me some service I never wrote anything or preached to anyone. Truly, I had absolutely nothing of value to say. By his mercy I am now busy with Sanga seva and my life has meaning again. Such is the value of Sadhu Sanga.

Belated birthday good wishes to you. I pray that this new year of your life will be the most spiritually fruitful and meaningful ever! May it be so!!

Birthdays offfer us an opportunity to remember and appreciate our devotee friends and those we value. Their observance may be mundane for the mundaners, but for the devotees although it is sometimes mixed, it can be a wonderful occation to come together and hear and chant and just have deep conversations about our life.

I have embraced birthday celebrations for years and have found them to be very uplifting. We could talk about the value of celebrating another birth in the material world, but because by Lord Gaura-Nityananda's mercy we have come in contact with the merciful manifestations of Sri Guru our life has meaning and great value.

After Prabhupada left the planet, it was a very discouraging, depressing time, and I wondered what would become of me, and what little KC I had. Now I see how Krsna didn't leave us high and dry, but had many agents to help us along the path. Now most of us older devotees here have even more encouraged and hope for the future of KC--personal and at large-- through our Swami.

It has been great reconnecting with you after so many years, Brahmaji. I have told you previously how much I appreciate your writing in the various forums, so I can here echo the chorus of praises. You are making a difference by your compassionate, balanced preaching, and I thank you for that again, and again. Even Madhuha appreciates your inclusive words.

Your friend in service,

with affection,

Karnam
