We recently took Guru Maharaja to the San Francisco zoo. Here is Guru Maharaja, Citta Hari, and Dayal Govinda in the Rainforest exhibit.

This was one of Guru Maharaja's favorites. It is a Chinese mandrill. Its rump is iridescent like a peacock.
During the visit, Guru Maharaja told us stories of when Srila Prabhupada visited a zoo, the San Diego zoo, I believe.
