Gauravani's Initiation

Today, on the day of Guru Purnima and Sanatana Goswami's Tirobhava, we were happy to witness the auspicious occasion of Bhakta Fred receiving harinama and mantra diksa. His sadhaka-deha/Gaura-lila nama is Gauravani dasa. Guru Maharaja gave a penetrating lecture on Sanatana Goswami and the importance of sadhu-sanga. We are very grateful to have Gauravani as part of our sanga. It seems like an old friend has returned home.

I must say that with the new neck beads I really feel like I belong to Guru Maharaja. The new name he has given me has also infused me with confidence, while being very grateful to Guru Maharaja and the Bhaktivinoda pravivara.

Jaya Nitai! What a beautiful name, Gauravani Prabhu! Congratulations! Unfortunately i will not be able to meet you during Ratha-yatra weekend, but i am making plans to come for Radhastami. Hopefully we will meet then!

BTW, you are the fourth Gauravani i know. I will try & not get your mixed up
