Vrindavana on NPR!

Madangopal - October 31, 2005 3:24 pm

Anybody here (in U.S.) listen to NPR's morning edition? This morning started a series called "The Geography of Heaven". Today, Tuesday and Wednesday focuses on Vrindavana! I guess an NPR reporter is friends with Chris Murray and decided to experience Vrindavana. Their tour guides were some devotees from Mandala Publishing, as well as others. If you missed it, here is a link. Click on the 6th link down and listen to the story.

I heard all three reports. It was fun to hear chanting and the ambient Vrindavan sounds ("Radhe! Radhe!") on the radio. I liked the second one best (Govardhan and Barshana), although I found something about Chadwick's utter bewilderment at Radha-raman a little charming.
