Thanksgiving Day

Nanda-tanuja Dasa - November 25, 2005 8:11 pm

I’ve realized that we have a large multicultural community and that many members do not celebrate Thanksgiving Day, but I thought I’ll take this opportunity to say something to all of you. Today is pretty gloomy day, sky is dark, drizzling rain, gusty wind hurls around colorful dead leafs. Normal weather of autumn season. Nature is getting ready to fall asleep until next spring. Times like that bring to mind thoughts of our finite nature and of appreciation for what we have -- materially and spiritually. I’m thankful to all of you, my friends and instructors, thank you for helping me by your kind thought provoking words, for your invisible presents in my day to day life. Thank you. I’m praying for your blessings. Hare Krsna.

Thank you for being here for us, Nandatanuja. You don't know how much I appreciate you. Besides, without you, I would be the only puja-nerd around... :D
