Congratulations with your birthday!

Thanks for being the one who most often starts these topics! and I hope to see much more of your brahminical qualities in the future. Your sharing of knowledge with us here on TV and in Finland is much appreciated!

Happy birthday, Bhrigu, the caretaker of Brahminic culture! :) I am looking forward to attending the beautiful aratis at Winter Retreat in a few days. It is great to have a big brother like you! P.S. Yes Sir, I am going to do better job with my homework for the Jaiva-Dharma meetings! And learn the songs as you reminded! And… :P

Kamalaksa Das - December 18, 2005 7:30 pm

Yes, we too in Porvoo wish you a happy birthday!

your calm composed manners (which I have only once seen a small crack in*) and ability to find good in everyone (as you know, I have problems with this) are of great importance for all of your godbrothers and sisters, and serve as an exsample worth following!

Your ability to see conflicts from both sides and find solutions that are acceptable to all never ceases to amaze me!

Thank you for this!

(This was when you had to endure Gurunishtas driving and getting lost in the suburbs of Espoo for hours and knowing that next mornings wake-up was nearing with a pace all too fast...)

And now my wife wishes to speak:

I'd like to add something to the list of your good qualities composed by Kamalaksa. They're all pretty nice, but there's one thing that stands above them all: Your milk sweets and other desserts are the best. :)

I wish you a very happy birthday, Bhrigu. Thank you for all your service to Guru Maharaja and all the devotees.

About those sweets: maybe we need to have a cook-off some day, including you, our older daughter Krishnamayi (whose burfi is still celebrated in San Diego by those who've had it), and this poor soul (whose halavah seems to please all the devotees). Maybe that should be a feature of the festival we'd all like to have some day.

Well, you are only 32 today. Long journey ahead. I’m very happy to accompany you on this trip. I wish you great health, deep realizations and happiness. I’m proud to be your brother. Miss you.

Bhrigu - December 19, 2005 7:52 am

Thank you so much, everyone! I am happy to be part of Swami's family.

The cook-off sound like a good idea, though we are still waiting for that between Kamalaksa and Gurunistha. Maybe during the upcoming retreat? If not, it's starting to look like you guys have started shaking in your boots!

Madangopal - December 19, 2005 12:12 pm

Happy belated birthday Bhriguji! I hope to meet you in person sometime.

Rama-priya - December 21, 2005 11:21 am

I'm probably very late but I'd like also join to the wishes. It was my fortune to meet such a wonderfull person like you and see such sincerity and engagement in devotional service. It was for me real lesson. And as someone I think mentioned this, you are I think example for following. I wish You all the best in the day of your birthday and hope to meet you again in winter retreat in Finland as well the other wonderfull devotees.
