Ah--very sweet and soothing. Yes, Swami is there in his spot. And that footage at the end was probably going back to 1970 again, judging from Srila Prabhupada's shirt. There was a period when he wore saffron cowboy shirts, and I remember that Goursundar wore a yellow one sometimes and had cowboy shirts made for some of us brahmacaris in Honolulu. Jeez--were we ever that young?

i've seen clips of some of these segments before. Watching scenes of prabhupada in l.a. (aka hell A) is particularly special for me; i "joined" there (as much as a 14 y.o. pining away in the suburbs, reading prabhupada's books and wishing she could drive can be considered "joining" a temple). Seeing the marble arches, prabhupada's vyasasana ... i'm sure anyone who has spent time in new dvaraka can relate (guru maharaja, dhira-lalita, agnideva & ratna, and others).

And that balcony! A blessing and a curse, really.

I've never seen the installation of rukmini-dvarakadhisa though. That was wonderful!

One thing i like about those really early days when srila prabhupada was here was that everyone wore uniform colours. I don't know why, but that has always appealed to me.

And that music isn't my thing either, jananivasa. Talk about totally hippie! yikes :o
