Audarya Radhastami 2006

Here are some pictures that I took at Radhastami. They do not give a complete overview of the festival--perhaps someone else took pictures from the second class, etc.?

At the end of the first class, Guru-nistha received the saffron vesa from Guru Maharaja (saffron dhoti), thereby officially entering the second phase of Audarya's monastic training. Guru Maharaja said a few heartfelt words and asked for the blessings of all the devotees and asked that if anyone had any objection to please speak up. Everyone lovingly approved. Guru-nistha is the first to graduate to our second stage of monastic training in our new system, and we all felt that his receiving the saffron vesa was so fitting. We are proud to have him in the fold and have the highest hopes for him. Gurunistha dasa brahmacari ki jaya! :Party:

congratulations gurunishta I am so happy for you. I am glad that you got your wish granted and thank you goravani for adding more of the smiley faces but i still can't get them to work for me so I was unable to put any clapping or disco dancing smiley faces
