Tripurari Maharaja's disciples and friends in UK

Haribol!

 

I'm moving in two weeks to Birmingham in UK, and I was wandering if there are any TS disciples or friends, I could associate with? I used to live there before, so I know there is Narayana Maharaja's temple, and Iskcon as well, but I never met anyone from this circle. Thanks guys.

people at the Soho temple where Rhada LondonIsvara are spoke nicely of Him in 1996 when I visited.

 

They are very welcoming and it is a beautiful temple. Just ask the diety for help.

So I am already here in Birmingham since more then one month. Like I said there is one Iskcon temple, but they are all Gujaratees, and they dont talk much to the strangers unfortunatly. And Narayana Maharaja´s temple is now empty, all went to India. Not many devotees you could associate with. How you (who live far from fellow devotees) deal with loneliness in your spiritual life? I try to stay in touch trough internet, but it is not the same. Haribolo

Well, one thing you can do is participate more here on TV! :) Otherwise, if you have a broadband connection, you can speak to other devotees for free through Skype. Check it out if you haven't already!

 

Also, don't give up on the Gujaratis yet. I'm sure they will open up more with time. And there must be some Western devotees as well?

I will try to catch more here on TV, as soon as I setlle litlle bit, because lately I started new job, new appartment, new country, just one big mess :Hypnotized: But I´ll be here. Swami Maharaja also asked me to participate more here to "integrate" with you guys, so definietly I will. :Hug:

As for the scype, I was wandering; is there any reason why phone conferences with Guru Maharaja, are not happening trough internet? Are´nt there any internet conference "rooms"? I know that Paramadvaiti Maharaja does (or did) something like that, no?

Czesc, I live in London, but it's a bit far from Birmingham. There are a few devotees like me and Kompi who attend the Soho ISKCON temple. Also there might be a Sri Caitanya Saraswati Math in Birmingham. Devotees from there think highly of Tripurari Swami. I know a few devotees in Leicester who are also very open to Tripurari Swami's teachings. Anyway what's wrong with e-mailing devotees? :D

Hi Madhavendra Puri,

 

We presently can't get a fast enough Internet connection here at Audarya to do a phone conference through the Internet, but that should change in time. There is a weekly teleconference, however (Sunday at 8:30 pst). It is available every week for download from the Internet.

Thank you Vrindaranya. I have the link with recordings from these conferences ( http://swami.org/weekly/ ) thought recently it was just 15 seconds , and it was something like : "You think is it recording now? Yes I thi...) " the end :D

Any way I am downloading it.

Nothing is wrong with emailing devotees :D I am just missing long bhajans and kirtans with friends. Still London is not that far from Birmingham. Are you sometimes organizing something there ?
